That why peugeot have high maintenace bills and on top of, just forget to put one screw or a wrong screw that problems are aparing later and you got another bill I did clean my egr myself on my bmw break 225 d in 10 minutes it was cleaned

You are a star! I am about to do this on my peugeot 508 2012 DV6C and the EGR it looks the same. Did you replace any washers or you just put back the old ones?

Mr Muscle oven cleaner will do it well with a toothbrush or similar. Give it a blast with carb cleaner after to get rid of the residue and compressed air will help

Can you put redex in your diesel tank to keep egr valve clean?
