The 10/22 can be a little tricky to disassemble and reassemble for cleaning. I've gotten excellent results in cleaning my 10/22 by just pulling back the bolt, locking it into position and scrubbing the bolt face, feeding ramp and entire loading breach area with a toothbrush, a smaller child's toothbrush works best, then wipe the area with a clean cloth and you're good to go. I've had my 10/22 for 20+ years and have never disassembled it for cleaning.

Everyone has their own lil' techniques. Thanks for watching and sharing.

Subbed. I usually clean mine every 500 rounds so it's pretty dirty when I do get around to cleaning it. Clever idea with the "custom" toothbrush. Gonna steal that idea.

I find the hardest part is getting the bolt back over the charging handle during reassembly. The charging handle cocks slightly to a different angle, preventing the bolt from going over it. I noticed you had a camera cut there too. Gotta be a good trick for this out there...

Ya, I did a cut scene. The trick is to get it lined up the first time. Sometimes you get it...other times you don't. The struggle is real.

#1, remove wood and glass. #2 spray thoroughly with brake cleaner be sure to get every nook. #3, blow dry with compressed air. #4 lubricate and put the stock back on. Seriously, I don't disassemble at all, just spray, blow, and lube.

What ever works for you. This is more along the lines of a deep cleaning. .22LR are notoriously dirty. Thanks for watching.

No long intro and other useless stuff. I like Ballistol clp myself.
