Nice house! I use ‘Tuff Stuff’ Foam cleaner and a stiff brush on my boat carpet. Cleans carpet great and smells good too. Your boat came out great. Makes no difference how long you take to clean as long as your happy with end result. No better feeling than a clean car and boat

I was considering Re flooring with Marine vinyl which seems more practical and considerably easier to clean over carpet, what do you think?

I have a 14' princecraft tin boat. Just last month my fire extinguisher activated and flooded my boat with yellow fine dust. Spent a week cleaning every corner of the boat, wiring's and carpet. I used dawn dish soap.

Thank you for the awesome tip about the wax cleaner, it pays to watch a video to the end, I have marble in front of my fireplace that I’ve tried everything to get this stain out, so thank you I will definitely try this product,

Oooo it should do it!! Let me know if it works! I had something stain white quartz... I can't remember what it was but it made red spots all over and the best I could do was get it to a faded pinkish red, but still obvious. The cleaner wax took it out with a couple of rubs with a towel after I scrubbed the bejesus out of it with regular cleaners.

I’m a fan of using Vim cream. On a large gel coat boat the stuff is cheap to buy, but amazing at cleaning everything off easily before any wax is applied.

Good tip, Vim is great stuff! So glad I don't have to deal with gel coat, I feel like I would be sooooo much more careful about what I bump in to with the boat if I had a glass boat lol

Little tip for the outside soap part: wash your glove/wasmit more often using the 2 bucket method. 1 bucket for dirt, the other for new soap solution. It will help against scratching. I use a white wash glove/mitt from mequiars.

I actually do this for my truck when I wash it using 2 buckets and yeah if I had a nice new boat, would likely do the same. My exterior on this boat is pretty beaten up so I cheat a bit. But you're absolutely right on bringing it up, the 2 bucket method is the way to go, thank you for mentioning it!

I just got my first fishing boat so learning alot from your videos! How often do you do the deep cleaning like this? 2-3 times a summer?

Well first off congratulations on the boat!! It's exciting to get your first boat but also nerve wracking when things break haha. Enjoy every minute of it! For the deep cleaning, honestly I try to do it once a year in late summer if I can get away with it. Normally I will vacuum and clean up mud every month if it needs it, but the deep cleaning only comes in when the boat starts to stink and gets filthy like in the video. The fact that I had to do it already in late Spring is not the norm at all, I was fishing a TON because of no work since mid-February and I had the boat out already last week of March. So short answer, do it when it needs it :) Good luck with the new boat!!

You are killing yourself, remove the carpet and put in snap in teak or vinyl flooring, easier to clean and makes your boat look bigger: I’m tired for “you”after watching all that rinsing....it turned out amazing. Nice video!!!!

That's probably what I would do should the carpets need to be replaced but it's one hell of a job to take out all that glued on carpet. Definitely a winter project!
