I have a situation, I had a year without using my Brother machine, Model LB5000,, I shipped to Europe, was vandalized, at last I ordered the power cable, the problem I see is the start button is on all the time, I get a warning message, " put the needle plate, it has it, I cleaned, nothing works, I wonder if perhaps that irresponsible personnel working in that agency, did something, besides the items stolen, all the foot pressers, tools, ballpoint needles, I reported them, immediately they sold that business. I cannot understand why my machine doesn't recognized the needle plate, what to do?

Brother Crafts USA I bought a Brother sewing machine for my niece. People who watch KZbin videos are Do It Yourself type people. I think if you have someone who has bought your machine asks you a question you should give them the information they ask you for, not just tell them to take it to someone else to do it. Brother can do a video on showing how their model is oiled and what kind of oil to use, simply advise it should be done by a professional but allow them the option of trying it themselves. Your answer is just plain unacceptable and frankly rude.

Actually they can tell you to take it somewhere else because it’s recommended not to do it yourself. If the machine breaks, it’s on them! It’s probably complicated to oil and has to be taken to the actual brother people.
