Was looking at some of your other videos and don’t know if anyone mentioned this, but if you’re venting inside you shouldn’t be using dryer sheets. They make the air toxic and cancerous when venting indoors. If you are using dryer sheets you need to vent outdoor. I use liquid fabric softer in the last rinse cycle and dryer balls in the dryer. THANK YOU! After googling I came upon your video and now know that my lint trap has been assembled incorrectly! I had the cloth filter in-between the outer part and the lint filter. I just put it in the correct order. The instructions with the dryer are a bit unclear. Im glad I found this!

Thank you for the video! Are those white lint filters reversible? Even after cleaning I'm just wondering if you can turn it over and use the other side?

I have the same exact magic chef washer and dryer that you have. However, the way I clean that cloth dryer filter is I remove it and throw it in with the clothes. Then dry the clothes for about five minutes. After five minutes, I pause the machine, locate the filter, which is now fully cleaned, then replace it back where it normally is supposed to go, then finish the drying cycle. Easy as pie.

I get it… but I don’t want to dry my clothes for even five minutes without everything the dryer needs to function properly. In my mind it’s things like that that can cause problems in the long run. But thanks!

The filters are cheap online. Generally, I will clean off the big stuff and sometines vacuum. Change and clean after each load. I put the dirtier one in with next load. Keep extras handy.
