I would like to give my old ipad to my grandson, but my ipads are synced. Does doing this process effect my new ipad? Every app l add, ends up on both ipad, so not sure what to do. Thanks for your help

If you were to factory reset the iPad, your grandson would need to use the same iCloud account as you to have app downloads to sync. If he creates his own Apple ID/ iCloud account, the sync will stop
