Quick Note: If you're erasing in PS and make a mistake, just hold down "alt" while still using the eraser, and you can paint the erased portion back in again. You don't need to "ctrl-z" and undo all of your last pass....

I do this in my videos. It's actually the premise of my channel! :) When I record the first clip, I actually use a voice recorder and then play it back when I do the second clip. That way I know exactly when to react to... myself Lollol!! Hope this clip helps anyone who tries this- it's so much fun!. Keep coming with these awesome tutorials, Peter!
@LanhNguyenFilms7 жыл бұрын
GEM Naturals how do you remove the voice recorder audio in post if there is overlapping dialogue with both clones speaking at the same time?
@GEMNaturals7 жыл бұрын
I just mute the voice recorder audio. I use final cut pro, but I'm sure all the platforms have this capability. I detach the audio and select the portions that have the unwanted audio and just mute them. The key is to make sure I'm not talking over the other audio, otherwise I'd be cutting into audio I'd like to keep. I hope this makes sense lol

One thing I noticed on this and other clone stuff in TV/Movies is that it doesn't seem like you're looking at the other person. In normal conversation with another person, sometimes we'll look at their eyes, then mouth, then eyes again as they talk. We may also look to the side as they're making a point, maybe notice something on their body or clothing. It helps to not focus on just looking straight.

Another tip you can do is record with your cellphones voice recorder while you doing the first clip, then when you do your clone you can playback the sound recording and answer or interact in time. Hope this makes sense ;)
@LanhNguyenFilms7 жыл бұрын
IanYoutubIan yea but what if there's overlapping dialogue between you and your clone? how would you remove the cellphone recording playing back from the audio?
@IanYouTubian7 жыл бұрын
You mustnt listen to it too loud, just enough to beable to know when to answer etc... it works if you overlap ;)
@IanYouTubian7 жыл бұрын
It must be nowhere near the mic and just loud enough for you to hear... The mic recording the main sound does not pic it up... this is only for overlapping dialogue, normal dialogue you can keep it any volume, but overlapping you will need to keep it as low as possible just so you can make out when you should respond etc. Trust me it works, if you put it soft enough the main mic does not pic it up, if it does, you can remove it with the program Audacity or alike.
