The fact that I did this exact thing with music the moment I realised I was in a bad place without knowing it's an actual trick makes me really happy.

My mom has Alzheimer's. Old songs are miraculous. The Carpenters era, Petula Clark, Deonne Warwick, John Denver. We sing old camp songs, & suddenly she has verbal skills &, besides, perfect harmony & pitch. It changes us. Bless you for this godsend lovely channel!!!

This is just what I needed to help my friend! She's very musically aware... she's a musician herself afterall! Her music speaks to her pain

Good stuff. There’s plenty of proof to support the notion that music can have huge mood altering properties. Once again thanks.

My go to song is Epiphany By Jin, it talks about how we should Love ourselves 💜

By matching a certain frequency, and turning up the volume, it amplifies your emotions so much so, that you can finally express your emotions in a healthy manner. Music is literally what has saved me as an empath my entire life. It has kept me from killing myself and other people around me. 😐 By listening to sad and angry music. 😔 Use it. 🎵

Love this! Always default to music I connect to, when down, yes but sometimes I also allow myself to intentionally build up a happy-list too, just to be brave! Great advice! 💙

Couple weeks ago I was sitting on a ferry and was pretty much upset about everything than the street musician started playing Let it be ! Don't worry be happy ! and I am an English man in NY. Let me tell you all what was going on in me came to stop and was listening to the songs. Still this voice this fèeling of trying to bull you back to the miserable point is there but it gets weaker by the time. By the time I left the ferry I felt lighter, reassuring feeling of confidence and a sudden compassion towards myself. Its was a great experience usually on those days a listen to more up beat songs very loudly it always help but not the way as on that ferry. Now after this I can see way !! Spectacular !! thank you so very much for this knowledge . All the best 🙋♀️

Holy crap this is good! I knew there are ways to help people develop others attitude but people always say there's not. There is! It's just hard as heck... Please do more videos on helping people develop better attitudes cause I'm good at helping others develop skills but helping them develop their attitude to a better one, THAT is holy grail I'm after! It's a painful journey but one I can't stop because it eats at me too much.

Yes, agreed, BUT you need to be on the same mindset to grow/ get out, otherwise you can keep eachother down imo.

Now I know why I can't stand the music at church. Start your play list with "Fade To Black" by Metallica. There's only one way to go from there, well, sort of.
