I'm a coach in California, I'm 41 years old coaching over fifteen years. 10.34 is an amazing time even in California and Texas. Great job coach! Love your approach and how you put together your own method. We need more coaches like you.

hey Coach , when you takeoff on Block starts what part of your foot should you land on? I’ve heard people say you should run on your toes on the start, Im curious on your opinion.

Balls of the feet.

Tony my season from indoor just ended, and I was wondering What I should focus on for the track stuff in my preseason. I run the 400 and I finished this indoor with a 1:32 in the 600. Should I focus purely on speed and wait for the season to do some lactic work? Or do it now.
@coachtonyholler Жыл бұрын
Two weeks of pure speed and power. Then once a week lactate.

Hey coach, how should I push out of the blocks? I've always kept the ball of my foot on the pedal but I think that may be wrong.
@coachtonyholler Жыл бұрын
That’s fine. Keep practicing.

I am flat handed and I am slower with bridge handed. I do not like bridge handed starts. Am I a freak ?

Probably bad angles you get when adding the extra shoulder height from having bridged hands
