Your welcome! They probably are not any good, it's best to let the seed pods mature on the plant for best results. They should grow back and when they start blooming again you can leave a few go to seed.

It depends on your growing zone but most of the time they are grown as an annual.

as long as they take. they will be dry when they are dry. check them daily.

Seed true means that the plant or flower will not be identical to the parent plant.

petunia plant looking bad, stringy, very few flowers, lots of seed pods, how can I get it to come back to life?

Cut the plant back some, which should remove all of the seed pods and fertilize the plant. Make sure the soil is moist before you feed the plant.

I cut it back alot, and as of today 7/18, there is new growth and 2 new blossoms. there's alot of old growth still in the pot, should I remove all of it? thx
