THANK YOU...Girl...I tried this and it worked! I had the coconut oil, as I use coconut oil and water on my hair everyday. I went and bought the conditioner and the consistency is like lotion; My hair loved the conditioner. I will try this again in 6 months with a different color

So I followed your directions and I achieved the color. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have received so many positive compliments. It took me a while to actually do the color and I was scared of the outcome. I am so happy I went on and colored it. I've been keeping it moisturized and trying to find a good style to pop this vibrant color in my head. I am 7 months natural and I've seen so slow but noticable growth. keep the tutorials coming. Thanks again.

I use two magenta and one red, and I absolutely love it! The instructions recommend using 2.4 oz of developer for each box of dye. I used the red mini solo cups from the dollar tree to measure.

A tip for mixing color sally's also sells a measure for your developer. You really want to make sure you do equal parts so that your color turns out true to tone (I am a professional :-) ). You did a really good job though and I love your color.

Because you are using a Hi-lift color it works on lifting the hair and you have to use a higher developer. If your hair is not in good condition I wouldn't advise you to use it.

Hi I have NEVER EVER dyed mg natural hair n I'm a lil scared of messing up so I've been watching and research on how to dye my hair red I want a dark color red not bright so my question is on the L'Oreal box I have which is the exact same as yours it says to use the volume 20 developer but I'm noticing some women are using volume 30.

I wish I had watched this video before buying a red dye hair kit. It looked really red before I rinsed it, and I guess my water was too hot, and now it's not red. Now it just looks like I have faint red highlights in my hair. Not cute. So I'm going to try dyeing it again in a few weeks, and I'll get some real hair dye like you used. Really good video!

Your hair turned out REALLY good! I've wanted to color my hair again without bleach because I've bleached before and had to cut my hair because of how brittle and thin it made my hair (sucks I know). I want to use your method (I've seen others do this as well), but I'm skeptical. I don't want to cut my hair again if things go left. What do you think?
@AdrianneMG9 жыл бұрын
Thank you! This hair color has very little bleach. If you are skeptical try using a 10 or 20 volume developer. The color might not be as vibrant. But it's worth a shot. I had my hair blonde when I was relaxed & its was broken so bad &a brittle. I have to be very careful with my natural hair on anything that can possible break it.

did you bleach your hair first? like way before you did the red did you bleach blond first? I'm asking because I want color but I am natural and don't want to damage my hair with bleach I know that bleach makes hair stands weak and promotes breakage and split ends

your hair color is just beautiful. Would my hair turn out that color if my ends are already a honey blonde? i just love that color
@AdrianneMG9 жыл бұрын
Thanks love. Your ends would probably be really bright maybe even pink. Like I said in the video I do my ends last cause they are the lightest. I can't imagine what color it would be if your ends were are ready bleached. And actually now that I think about it that box color says for dark hair so I wouldn't advise using it on your ends cause ain't no telling what color it will be.
