How do you know what natural ingredients are nonallergic? I was thinking of using dried pumpkin flowers.
@sarassoap2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately most botanicals turn brown in melt and pour. What works well are calendula petals and maybe blue cornflowers. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for this. It was really helpful as I thought using natural botanicals couldn't give vibrant colours but you've proved they can. I have been warned against using natural products in melt and pour as I'm told they will mold over time, would you disagree?

Im glad you like the experiment. Regarding the melt and pour it could be. It remains to be tested.

How old is the melt & pour now that's in this video? The reason I'm asking is that I would like to know how the natural coloring you used heald up in the soap? Thank you for making these videos, Sara

I wonder how the base doesn't get bubbles as you mix with the wisk.
@sarassoap3 жыл бұрын
Hello Mariana. If so you can use rubbing alcohol to spritz away the air bubbles.
@marianailie77323 жыл бұрын
Hello, Sara! Yes, I know about the alcohol for the bubbles. I used the whisk once and the whole soap became unclear and full of bubbles.
