My man doesn't communicate with me well. We fuss about the smallest things. I TRY to understand where he's coming from but it's not reciprocated. I apologize even when I'm not wrong to just fix the problem. I'm so DRAINED!!! I'm at the point of giving up. I talk about him and I not spending enough time together. We stay stay about 45 minutes from each other and I've been expressing we don't spend enough time together. He works nightshift 4 days and I work dayshift. We I talk about want to feel wanted he always tell me "I treat u good" I acknowledge that but when I try to discuss things that matter we get into big arguments. I explain that I feel like the relationship that I'm in with him is a "friend with benefits" situation. We don't communicate about what's goes on with him, he won't introduce me to his family, I can't really go to his home but he's always coming to my home. When I tell him that I'm done he always tell me, oh u can back to your ex because that's what you want any ways. Any suggestions or call the quits and run?

I had no understanding of farming or hunting, but after watching this I realized I was only hunting. No wonder why our conversations were so hard.

Really helped me to understand better how to communicate with my girl . She would always accuse me of something. And me being a kind of person who hates being labeled and such, makes me then use logic to try and get her to understand why I did what I did. Resulting in me coming off as cold, or her straight up stonewalling me . Thanks a lot

I was watching a lot of those videos, where people where saying stonewalling is a trait of a narcissist. But actually after watching your videos, I realised I was usually too angry to have a normal conversation and I was showing him his feelings don't matter. And I should work on myself :(

This is great. Thank you for your videos. I feel forced to express myself because he says there is safety, but when I dont feel safe, I dont want to talk and then he says its my fault that we cant talk because "you refuse to talk after I ask you to."

Hi Geoffrey, Thanks for posting this video mate, I have watched a number of your videos and think you are really talking sense in them and providing men with practical solutions with which to attempt better communication with the women they have hurt and lost for whatever reason. I am currently separated from my wife of 19 years. Long story, but my mental health (PTSD and depression) led me to neglect her and be rude and snappy with our teenage daughters. She finally had enough and asked for space which sent me into mad begging/pleading mode and I smothered her. The result was a horrible conversation where she told me she had not felt loved, desired or appreciated for years. She also asked me if I had ever cheated on her and I confessed to an incredibly brief affair 9 years ago - I am not trying to excuse it, but it occurred before I sought help for my mental health issues and I nearly lost my job in the same period because I was acting out in every way I could think of due to circumstances that affected me. I knew she'd throw me out, and she did but I did not want to lie to her. She has told me we are over, and will only be co-parents but my heart tells me she still has some feelings for me underneath her anger and pain, and I will be honest, she is my soul mate and the love of my life. Watching your videos, and taking your 90 minute Masterclass has given me hope that I can one day rebuild our relationship from the ground up and repair her trust. I only wish I could afford your full program, but you have a dedicated fan here. Thank you!

Do you think that apologizing from both sides is important? I really like the ideas presented. But something is still bugging me. Can one talk to a partner in a same way about them not apologizing verbally?

My wife of 10 years is going through a lot right now. Mostly due to trauma from abusive relationships she's been through in the past. We are going through a rough patch right now and I'm trying very hard to understand her and figure out what she needs me to do. She keeps telling me that she can't tell me what she needs me to do for everything to be good again. I understand that it's important to her that I put in the work and truly show her that I k ow je and know je needs but I keep striking out. I love her and don't want to lose her. What would be a good approach to this situation?
