How to configure G Suite Shared Mailboxes

I searched for this guide in which one would explain why you need to manually select in the group setting "public posts" = external or else you won't get emails from externals everywhere on youtube!! All the other guides skip that part, you were the only one that covered it and explained it!! Thank you! :)
