I like the idea of making the process of connecting flex easier, but wouldn't this tend to condensate at the non-insulated joints?

Was goignt to make a comment about that..... I 've always pulled the outer vapor barrier and insulation over the metal and only used one piece of metal.

Attempting a self install of some new duct. Bear with me. Why wouldn't you screw those collars together then wrap the joint in the flex fix tape?

Great videos! Thanks for sharing! Question, I have uninsulated air flexible connectors ducts for AC/Heat going about 15 ' to a retune and want to insulate them after they were installed. What is the best product or way to go about that - that you recommend? They have no insulation and I can tell they are losing hot air. Thanks!

0:48 "It has the ability to be the male or female" Good Gosh even HAVC has gone woke gender ideology. Ha ha. Seriously this does nothing for me since I am repairing existing duct , which is too long to replace.
