How to Connect AirPods/Bluetooth to PlayStation Portal!

Tried few these before. Couldn’t stand the delay that was even shorter delay than yours. So ended up sticking to 3.5mm wired Sony headphones and sounds really good on the portal. Thx for sharing your experience so that I can conclude that these will have similar results.

Have you tried the skull and co audio stick. Plug it into your ps5 and pair with your AirPods Pro 2 and then remote play like usual

I’ve just tries this with that same transmitter, AirPod pros and my portal, solid red light after pairing, the headphone symbol comes up on portal screen, but no sound 🤷‍♂️. Can’t figure out what is wrong with the set up. Normal headphones via the jack work fine, AirPod pros work fine with iPhone etc. but no sound at all when connecting with the transmitter.

Maybe try the Avantree C81 USB-C Bluetooth Audio Adapter for PS5 with aptX Low Latency Support and Included Mini Mic. Also ordered a 2 in1 Dual USB-C Type C Splitter so in theory I should be able to exjoy the benefits of aptx low latency support and be able to charge the portal at the same time. I'll be testing using Airpods pro and google pixel buds series A. I'll report back my findings. PS the Avantree is considerably smaller than the device in this video...it looks tiny in all the pictures I've seen.

I made the mistake of connecting my bluetooth headphones first before connecting the portal to my PS5. The portal wouldn't connect to the PS5 until I disconnected the headphones. I connected the portal first, then the headphones and everything was fine.

It worked the first time I did it but now will not work. I have followed the steps in this video multiple times and it will not reconnect back to the stick. 0/10 do not recommend unless your trying to waste money

Get UGREEN Bluetooth 5.0 audio receiver n transmitter. It cost $20 only. It work flawlessly on my WF1000XM5! Switch to TX, plug to ps portal n pair it wollaaa there u go. Save money on buying unwanted stuff 🥰
