I had the bigger heltec 4s-6s one and when I hooked everything up I went to hook up those two that hooked to the yellow wire and it smoked it

There were two yellow wires any idea why that happened I hooked it up to the first one which I think was like b2

If you get one cell goes bad, you will have an imbalance that that tiny jumper wire will cook taking the load. I strongly recommend you change the tiny wire with heavy copper like what you did in the other video.

hi how to connect to solar charge controller is it to postive and negative copper bar and use 2 guage cable what is to set igh and low voltage disconnect on solar charge controller and 1 yellow cable split into cable 2 wire into both negative silver bar

So the red flag Spade connectors come with the wiring / bank? And where did you get those blue ones,? All the ones I see have only about half the length of the wire connector hole.

thanks for the video, but I would have needed a more step by step connection video to really make sure I didn't mess this up...I think?? I get what your saying but not 100% sure at all because of the missing steps.......yes BECAUSE im definitely not a electrical guy is most likely the reason......your super beast conversion was a more clear video which we got done

It's 5 wires. One after the other from negative to positive. I think youll understand just fine of you converted the way I showed. If you converted by just cutting the bar, youll have a much harder time

I followed the conversion and for some reason my tabs on the middle plates are in the middle on one side only and I can’t seem to figure out where I went wrong… could I still “jump” them (if I can reach it) or do I have the battery wrong now? All connections are the same so just kinda lost

Your balance tabs are inside? That's fine.but I'd take it back apart and seap left to right. Putting them outside

I'm about to try it a second time I don't think heltec has one that looks like this I bought one that looks just like yours it was the cheapest one there was I fried the heltec 4s-8s because obviously the wire colors are not lined up right it was a 4S to an 8s so I bought the only one on Amazon that looks identical to yours well actually there were two they were pretty much the same price. Hopefully it works I'm not sure where you got a heltec that looks like that maybe their website?

I bought 2 of these and fully charged them to 14.6 volts also and I did not disassemble them I made them into two 12.8 Volt per super beast which should be a total of 192 amp hours at 12.8 volts to my surprise my inverter shut off at 10 volts and when I recharged both superbeasts all together only took 50 amp hours so something is not right with these batteries. 50 amp hours is not even close to 192 amp hours. Anyone else testing these?
