I was searching for exactly this! Deleting the f*** dot is the secret. Thank you so much. Somehow my ZOOMH6 recorded my tracks in stereo instead single tracks, now I had to seperate them. Problem solved. Thanks a lot !

Thanks for this - I especially appreciated the detail about removing the full stop (or "period" for some of us) in the filename; it made a difference in Logic's recognizing the files when I brought them back in.

I saw another method in other tutorials, but your method seems cleaner and less prone to mistakes, albeit you have to reimport and close the project before that. Thanks!

ah, awesome man. That's what I'm looking for. Here's a tip from me, I don't see the L/R source track in my logic files browser (my version is v10.6.1), but this method still works fine to me.

You said remove the full stop on the right and the left. What even is that? All it did was create a .r and a .l in addition to the LR audio file during conversion.

Logic sees the full stops and recognises that the two files are a pair, and will import them as such, unless you remove the full stops.

Good tip although Logic should make it easier to do this.
