@@vaughncurry1239 My dad was a better cook too...or maybe I just took my mom for granted since my dad could only cook on the weekend. But he certainly made it more fun and took the time to teach us whereas my mom was busy getting her job done while helping us with homework. Every year for Christmas I get my dad a new kitchen gadget. Last year was the air fryer!! He loves it. I'm sad bc he has to eat totally gluten-free now so I figured, if I could make cooking easier or more fun then he will still enjoy cooking despite his more limited options. He lives far away now and I always miss him and his enthusiasm in the kitchen. Don't underestimate yourself...men are just important in the kitchen as women!! Especially on the grill, which I have yet to master lol. I swear, food always tastes better cooked by a man from the grill 😂

Omg how did I watch an hour and 20 mins of this? I’m 30 and single with no kids. It’s the second day of the new year, I’m still in bed...depression is fun! I’m def going to subscribe, something about your voice and how you don’t flip out over all the work you have to do, you just have this chill vibe and I love it! ❤️ You’re amazing!

It's such a joy to see a youtuber who share her groceries that actually cooks and above that healthy and filler meals instead of using a bunch of junk food. I'm from Argentina. Our costumes and even food are very different. However we're strongly headed on the not buy trash with a lot of additives. And in the interior of the country specially, to produce almost all that we eat by ourselfs. Seeing you in this routine, that's very simmilar to my rutines (with the difference that I don't cook to so much people ahead 🤣), is refreshing.

Your kids are going to love you for this. My mom didn’t do stuff like this. And she would make dinner maybe once a week. I would cook or my older brothers would but food.. Do you have a recipe for like one of those containers or half of what you make? I love with my dad and step mom now and we’re a family of 10 like you but I don’t want to make so much as you. Just a little just to try it out. I’m 20 and I’m now learning how to cook and these seem easy enough for me to understand how to make

@@criss5405 yes. 20 is not a very early start, but it is still good. I was cooking dinner by 14 or 15. It is a basic life skill and I was always amazed when adults told me they couldn't cook. How did they grow up living in a house where people presumably had meals every day and never learned to cook? I found out when I married my husband. His mom wouldn't let the kids in the kitchen so they never learned at all. He couldn't make anything, even very basic things. And he had a real interest in it, so it was sad that he wasn't taught. Years later, he is a great cook and has even developed his own recipes. He just needed to watch me cook and ask me questions and now he loves it. It took him several years to learn, to be honest, but yay for me because he now cooks dinner at least twice a week. :-)
