This is my first charcoal grill after a lifetime of gas. kzbin.infoUgkxBPjh-m7-eaAjTEt8BOZRSRRxXqxiI90W The food in it turns out great. Also, the ash remover makes it easy to clean.The base is sturdy and it has ample space inside.I use a chimney to get it started, and it seems pretty efficient. One chimney is enough to cook a whole lot of meat and still keeps burning. If you close the vents it cools down well making it so the coals remaining are still usable as supporting cast members (you still need fresh coals to get them going.I was going to get something bigger, but realized with coal, bigger is just more wasteful and harder to cook with.

Nice job brother! I've always done 25 min, then flip for anothe 20 or so until done. Do you find it makes any difference when you do it on one side for 40 and then a quick flip to finish?

Hey TosTinMan, thanks .... my Weber's taken a beating on sausage, burgers, steaks, chicken breasts and pork tenderloins but haven't yet done drumsticks. You may want to try using plain old yellow mustard as a binder for your rub ... it works wonders! Cheers, Scott.

I found the Tajin seasoning on Amazon, but can you also find it at local stores? I have never seen this before. Also, do you have a vid showing how you added the thermometer to your kettle lid? I have a basic kettle with no thermometer.

I live in Northern California and I'm able to find tajin seasoning in stores around here. It's usually in the produce section. Here's a video of me installing the grill thermometer. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipytd5duqamHa7c

If you ever seen how they package your meat. I think you would think more about washing your meat off B4 seasoning! Plus, you do not taste the solution that they use to process the meat B4 it is package.
@bthatsme87473 жыл бұрын
You have to clean that chicken and maybe soak it in vinegar and salt water to get that fresh raw chicken taste out of it, but thats optional other wise recipie might be good ( just a little more seasoning)
