Bought a second freezer, just for greens. Now have 5 cu feet of ready-for-winter organic greens. Compost loves the kale stems. I love you and my more daily greens. Two half gallon ball jars lift easily inside canvas bags with canvas handles. Greens are from local growers that soon after picking, are on shelves of local Choices Natural Market in Loves Park, IL.

I buy kale because of Dr. Esselstyn! 😊🥬I hand shred them and rub my hands together with the kale in between. I like the way you cook and I will when I have a stove but I just microwave for 1 minute. I agree that some kale is different, and the kale I have now tastes nice just perfect after 1 minute of microwaving. When I buy big stalks of it I will do exactly as you do! I can tell you and many others have probably already, that kale improves blood flow. I feel it really works powerfully. I try to eat it more than spinach, and I try to chew it very well. It's the Dr. Esselstyn way. 💪♥🏃♂️🏃♀️ I try to eat 2 ounces a day because I buy the 1 pound package and it will go bad if I don't eat that fast.

‘Kale is like a tarp.’ Excellent description. lol I had a friend whose 19 yr old son occasionally worked for a family friend doing paint stripping for his home repair business. The son could not figure out why they treated him so oddly at the bank, until it finally dawned on his mother that the memo line on the checks said “stripping job.” lol

Why not steam kale? Doesn't nutrition go down the drain with the water? Chef AJ KEEPS water from steaming/boiling veggies & drinks it when it's warm or cool- high in nutrition.

People are missing out! I cooked a big head of kale yesterday (After I stripped it) in my instant pot and then poured a little lemon balsamic on it with a squirt of hot sauce. Jon loved it! Now I need to buy 3-4 heads a week and store in frig drawer like Ann does.
