Nice recipe beautiful end result. One thing I do differently is blend scotch bonnet and 1 onion separate. That way it doesn’t get strained out with the excess water from peppers. Well done

That tip for bleaching the oil is quite helpful, but can it be made without bleaching the oil at all? The outcome is delish! I love it👏

No dear, ofada stew is usually made with bleached palm oil because part of the delicious taste comes from bleaching the palm oil. Traditionally that is how it is made, but you can still give it a try without bleaching the palm oil but you won't get the same exact taste 😊

It’s called ofada rice...brown like rice and while some may be white because I’ve actually bought the white one before. But mostly in brown in color, you can tell them when in market, that you want the ofada rice!

This was good to watch! Looks yummy indeed. I have never known the water from the blended peppers to be used to boil meat. Will it not affect the taste of the meat and drown the seasoning? Could you please do a video on the uses/benefits of using this to boil meats and other uses? People like me would really appreciate this as I've never come across it before. Thank you so much. 🙏 Thank you so much bro Chibuike, you will love it, ofada stew is a very delicious stew when prepared with all the necessary ingredients, it is traditionally served with ofada rice but you can have it with normal rice, what matters is the taste of the stew 😊

No dear it won't be peppery 😁 the red bell peppers and green bell pepper are not spicy at all! The only spicy pepper is the 3 scotch bonnet peppers i used which you can always adjust to your taste 😊
