Been wanting to create a recipe for Korean Jajangmyeon and think I've done it. Here are the ingredients:
1 pack medium thick noodles, fresh noodles from Asian supermarkets are best
.5 cup Korean black bean sauce
Veggie mix of potatoes, cucumber, onions 2 cups
.8 pound of pork belly or any other protein
Sesame oil
3 teaspoon Corn or potato starch mixed with 2 tsp water
1 tsp sugar
vegetable oil
Chili oil

This is my favorite noodles 🍜 meal, i discovered it about 11 years ago, watching a k-drama, and i was intrigued, i was able to find the blackbean paste at my Asian market, after researching many recipes online, i do pork and potatoes, green onions,, then noodles, and extra noodles lol. I was trying to recreate a dish I love when I visit my local Korean food court. Turns out, it's noodles and black bean sauce. I thought it was zhajiangmian and got soybean paste and sweet flour paste instead of black bean paste. Still excited to try it and see the difference in taste!

In Itaewon 이태원 there's some pretty solid restarants, and there's a few really good spots popping up around Seoul. There's certainly places that Korean-ize things, but there's a lot of places that keep it authentic. Really good Biryani, paneer, butter chicken, etc. One place in Hongdae in particular is the best I've had so far, 헬로인디아 Hello India. The owner is really chill, fluent in Korean and English too. Suuper yummy and really spicy

@@iishilpisinhaii korean-indian fusion... i dont think ive ever seen when i was there. Itaewon is the main area for foreign foods (esp halal ones) but i find them to be quite on the expensive side. There is one near seoul station that are really delicious and worth it imo
