How To Cope With Depression
Depression doesn't have to ruin our lives. The most urgent thing we need to do is understand how depression is unlike sadness - and why self-understanding is the main way out of feeling this way.
Many of us will feel depressed at some point during our lives, but depression still remains misunderstood and perhaps as a result of this poorly treated. At the heart of our collective struggle with low mood, depression is confusion about how it can be contained and how the low mood can be managed to give the person an uplifting feeling. Sometimes we might be focusing long on formulations, thinking about the causes of the depression, almost perpetuating rumination. From my experience dealing with depression and even anxiety in some cases can be very simple when people are willing to follow the straightforward formula presented in this video.
