Hi neasignat, the sounds are from all over. Some of them are stock sounds and some are custom recorded and made.

Absolutely amazing tutorial! I'm just curious, are you planning to do a tutorial on blood effects without stock footage? I'm asking because we've seen tons of tutorials about muzzle flashes and bullet shells, but none of them was as educational and useful as this one. From my point of view, the case is the same with blood effects. I think many of us would appreciate it. Anyways, keep up the good work, im happy I've found this channel!

Hi StarCinemaEffects - there is a muzzle flash tutorial available on the Independent-VFX youtube channel. Its very similar to how you would achieve the smoke and "flash" for the silenced weapon in this clip.

You need to make sure youve got your shell case built against a transparent background

how to import shell bullet to AE? i've got LWO files and mov viles that contains loopable shell cgi. but i have no idea to put in...
@IndependentVFX9 жыл бұрын
Chris Yahya You will need to convert the .lwo file to a .obj file in order to use it in Element. The .mov file can be used in After Effects as a 2D layer with a 3D camera setup.
@CTZN19 жыл бұрын
How to use the mov files? Is any tutorial available? Newbie.. (sorry for my bad eng)

I would love to see a tutorial on how to do a smoky blood splatter. Like you see in movies now days when a bullet hits a person and there is a puff of bloody smoke. I can't seem to get any good ones to use so I would like to make them myself. Thank you and Btw, great tutorials!
@IndependentVFX11 жыл бұрын
Thanks Russ, we will have to look into that in one of our future tutorials - although Freddy W has quite a good tutorial on blood clouds somewhere... Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting!
