This is stunning CGI! Way before it’s time I have to ask, as an aviation enthusiast, have you seen the new film “Fighter”? It’s the Indian answer to this film, but if you have seen it then it’s pretty self explanatory

Hello! If you are still there I have a question Do you have an interest in aviation? I was just wondering because the planes act very similar to how they would act in real life, and the only thing I found that criticized this scene was the cannon sound, which to date no movie has ever got right, not even Top Gun Maverick. So I don’t really count that! But anyway my question is that I heard there was a sequel to this film? Or was it cancelled? Or mabye I was just misinformed. Thanks for taking the time to read this message
@IndependentVFX7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the great comment. Yes, I absolutely do have a love and interest for aviation. I know what you mean about the canon sound, hopefully someday some sound guy will get it right. There was talk about a sequel being done, but I havnt heard anything yet. Perhaps now with Pakistan having the J-10 theres a good reason to make a sequel!
@MiG-318937 ай бұрын
@@IndependentVFX thanks for your reply, yes I agree J-10 would be cool to see if they make a sequel I think the bit I liked the most about this scene, is when sherdil is chasing around mirage, and his HUD temporarily locks onto the sun. I was sure that part was intentional!

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Why does the cannon shoot so slowly? Please look up actual testings of modern fighter jet cannons. They don't go 'pew pew pew', but 'BRRRRRRRRRRT'.
@IndependentVFX Жыл бұрын
Haha, good comment Vincent! Im very aware of how the real canon behaves... but as you know films take creative liberties with these things. One day somebody out there will do it right.

very nice vid, however just for realism i would make the shells a matte mettalic gunmetal color due to this being a russian AK. they made their shells in iron instead of brass due to them having abundant iron sources and not too much brass. this gun uses both 7.62-39 and 545-39mm, so next time you make it with a bit older russian gun id make the shells more blacker, you can search it up for reference. anyways great vid👍
