How to Create Bouncy, Separated Ringlets ft. the NEW Bounce Curl Brush |

Do you struggle with achieving clumped curls AND volume? Here's how I create bouncy, separated ringlets using the new styling brush from Bounce Curl.
1. Spritz water on clean, damp hair. Apply the Bounce Curl Clump & Define Cream: glnk.io/x26q/genamarieco4zj
2. Section hair and apply the Bounce Curl Light Hold Gel: glnk.io/x26q/genamarieco3p4
3. Pick up vertical section and brush style using the Bounce Curl Define Styling Brush (currently sold out, sign up for the waitlist): bouncecurl.com/products/defin...
4. For root lift and volume at the crown, pick up horizontal sections and brush up and back. Scrunch.
5. Apply a bit of hairspray to palms and smooth over the surface. I used the Bounce Curl Alcohol-Free Hair Spray: glnk.io/x26q/genamarieco0do
6. Diffuse until hair is completely dry, then fluff out the roots and scrunch out the cast.

Idk about the brush (i just use a wet brush from ulta and love it) but i have that dryer and it literally cut my dry time in half!!! Its the curlsmith hair dryer for anyone wondering. Its $180 at ulta. I know its a lot but its worth it for the time im saving.

My only concern is that it has also boar bristles, and I've heard boar bristles shouldn't be use on wet hair... But unfortunately for us curly hair buddies, we can't use any kind of brush on dried hair

Gena: Do you have recommendations for FINE WAVY hair? I find I have to use heavy hold gels, and cannot over condition or I have will have cotton candy hair. I just don't think Bounce Curl will hold waves, esp. after reading fellow fine hair girl reviews. I would try the brush if/when it's back in stock though....Thanks in advance!

I've also got fine wavy hair and I find lightweight gels such as jessicurl spiralicious gel, aveda confixor gel ,snot but only a small amount rubbed with plenty water. I also love innersense I create definition, its a lightweight strong hold foam which also helps with drying time. A strong hold foams pretty unheard of. I get an amazing cast with it so I get less frizz underneath

@@Angie-sl1nj For Gina's hair it seems like the brush, her technique and the product work well for her hair. For my fine hair with different patterns, plus thinning on top, I need some serious crunch hold. Too much or too many creams just don't work with what I have going on.

I don’t wash every day. I only do this 1-2 times per week and my curls last for days. When you don’t put in the effort, curls won’t hold up as long

Not by itself, no. A wide tooth comb doesn't give any tension. The tension from the dense bristles is what creates clumps and ringlets. You can use a denser brush plus a wide tooth comb to separate for a similar effects but that is 2 steps.
