Thank you for this lovely tutorial I've been using deco sims to add around the world to make it feel more lively I'm currently building up my own save file using the t.o.o.l mod to decorate the world surroundings. I was wondering if you could do tutorial on how to make deco builds as well like those fake buildings EA uses to decorate their world, I'm hoping to create deco houses to plop around the world or maybe if I'm feeling more ambitious I can make those fake building interactive and place them around the world (I saw a tutorial like that on sims studio but couldn't find any that teaches you how to make your own version of the build) So if you possible, I would really appreciate a tutorial on how to make my own fake buildings, thank you

Ahaha i swear i tried it with Alpha-Sims and its a big mess oh boy. 30 min waiting on studio with about 70 k Verticles (without Decimate). Oh Boy oh Boy. :D But in the end now i have my ALpha-Sims-Deco-Stuff in my game thank you!

Hi user@ Seems like you may not have applied the armiture to the rig (aka baked the pose in) Please start again from the top because you may have missed a step! Be sure to pause after each thing to make sure you've caught it all! If it still causes you a problem let me know

YEEEEEEEY, Pixi, thanks you for a tutorial that I was waiting for! But there is one problem, I tried to select my sim, that conatins with mods, in SimRipper and It doesn't work, it ripped my sim without mods😭

Hi Egerin, goodness that's odd.. Usually my knowledge doesn't extend past the initial tutorial so I'm not Too sure about that one as I've not run into it.. My initial thought is, make sure your mods aren't too deep in the mod folder. for exmaple only one folder deep, they shouldn't be buried (JUST incase that's a prob) I did some looking and found this: answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Help-Ts4-ripper/td-p/10710581

is there a way for them not to look so shiny and slippery?

yes there is! in the texture section diffuse = colour specular = shiny / wet if you fill it with a blank colour (there should be blank spec maps on sims 4 studio) or all black i believe. if options under diffuse aren't there. go to warehouse look for dst andy dst that isn't the main colour is either the spec or normal fill em with blank! it will remove that shine.

I dont know if this is a dumb question but I downloaded deco sims and I dont know where to even find them to use them. Can only find videos on how to make them and not how they are used when you download them

Hi Kay! No such thing as a dumb question, you either know something or you don't so always feel free to ask x Hmm when it comes to your own you can at least look for them by name in the search bar, If you know the name of the deco sims you've downloaded you can either type their name in too OR in the buy mode, on the far right toggle custom content on, and (unfortunetly) you'll have to scroll down till you see them!

@@PixifiedTips Thank you so much for responding to my comment. I just recently was able to find them. The ones I originally downloaded weren't showing up in my build mode so I wasn't sure if that's where they were supposed to be or not. A simmer friend I made showed me where they should be and I downloaded some more and then they all were there.

hi Ash! YES! That's removing the specular of your item, next time you're in the textures tab, add a blank spec map to replace it: sims4studio.com/thread/1079/get-eas-bump-specular-maps

Hi Holly! Hmmmmmmmmm, it should be the exact same way. go to case, make a family with an infant in it, save them to gallery, then they'll show up in the step 1 portion of the vid! x
