Hello, I just signed up for your 6 week course. You may explain this in your course, but just in case you don't, I have a few questions. 1. What do you mean "make sure there are no holidays in the there"? 2. On the video, the words on your finished piece, your products and your apron are backwards from our vantage point. When you apply the stencil and are viewing it in person, is it backwards as well? Do we need to flip the stencil to make it readable? 3. Can you please explain the difference between "antiquing" something and what you did with the 3 pieces you worked on today? Thank you for the clarification. :-)

Could I do this milk paint antiquing with chalk stencil on a kitchen table top and cabinet faces if I sealed with several coats of oil based clear polyurethane? Would that give it the durability needed to withstand the use?

I love the stencils that I received, but when I cleaned them off they curled up. What did I do wrong? I just used plain water. I placed it between two heavy books to try to flatten it out, but I am concerned that I did something wrong and ruined it! My maiden name is Paris, so the Paris stencil is special to me beyond how beautiful it is and I want to reuse it, lots!

I think I missed something. You added the binder so that the milk paint could not be antiqued and then you antiqued it. It looks amazing, but what’s the point of the binder?
