Nice tut! Defining and slowly guiding your viewers through some huge fusion foundational concepts that when understood by them, will open many eyes to bigger and better future comps! Any chance of future tuts for intermediate fusion? Specifically, how to set up an opacity map after a 3d shape in a PBR / Metalic workflow. Even more specifically, I know it needs a channelbooleans node to composite it as a mask? (eg: texturing chainmail) I've been struggling with this concept for months but have never really received a good answer and have not been able to reproduce the effect. Tnx for all your shared insight!

@@videoeditingcentral Yeah, building shaders and applying 3rd party PBR texture maps is NOT something that is covered much on KZbin. Actually, the only two channels that I've found to provide info on texture mapping is VFXStudy (Bernd Klimm is VERY GOOD!! ) as well as RESOLVED. I know applying an opacity map is applied using a Channel Boolean node but finding good tuts on using that node alone are VERY SCARED! If you could make us a short example on this topic, It would be HIGHLY appreciated and STRONGLY anticipated!! Keep up the good work!! Kel
