Thanks for the tutorial! It's easy to follow and made using nodes look less scary lol. I was just searching for a pixel modifier but I found a more in-depth and cool way to make it!

For the water plane, instead of duplicating, you could just use the array modifier

14:00 Could you have used an Object Info node instead of a Geometry node?

Can you make a video about how you can swap/change female character's shoes from HIGH HEELS to BOOTS to FLAT FOOTED (no shoes) like in open world games like GTA, Saints Row etc?

@@sphynxcolt4030 what's wrong with the statement?
@sphynxcolt403011 ай бұрын
@@spittingame4241 It was not a statement, but a question that you presented tho? Also, I just asked you to clarify what you mean by "Swapping the shoes from high heels to boots to no shoes". Some more information would be needed on what you mean. It would be the same as to ask "How to make an Object"(?). Blender is not a game (-engine), so I dont know how the GTA and saints row example work.

@@sphynxcolt4030 It is the same concept as if you have a female character in a game. Like how they change shoes like from high heels, boots, no shoes. People that I asked said you can achieve this with Key frames. Some say they use key frames and drivers but NOBODY has done a video tutorial about it. I hope that answers the question.
@sphynxcolt403011 ай бұрын
@@spittingame4241 Keyframing between "High heels, boots, no shoes" is very useless and requires way more work than just to model the shoes separately. For keyframing, you will have to first create the first model, then use this model and move/ sculpt the vertices into the other shape, then into the next (dont forget to set shape keys). As of my knowledge, GTA doesnt use shape keys for the shoes, why would they if they can just use separate models for each shoe type?

@CBaileyFilm Nice Tutorial. I was hoping you had a tutorial helping me with the Spritesheets for an old WBC game. it is almost like pixel art since your low resolution units and buildings colors may not mix with the magenta background, or else they will transfer some of the multicolored magenta-color mixes into the game after adding the sprites.

Can some one tell me how to use bpy module outside blender like vs code or Pycharm
@sphynxcolt403011 ай бұрын
What do you mean "Use bpy model outside of blender [..]"? You can do the whole coding thing in any IDE that supports Python, then import the script in the tab Script > Open (The folder icon). If you mean to use the bpy script in another software and *run* the script, that aint possible, as the bpy is specific made for Blender.
@dbolan10 ай бұрын
Do you mean running it headless? Last I checked, you needed to compile blender from source with certain flags in order to import bpy into arbitrary scripts. Granted, this was a few versions ago so maybe things have changed
