I have three different colours of hangers, black for long sleeve, white for short sleeve and red for no sleeve. It works for me because I so do not have as many clothes as this close.t I used the Marie Kondo method so 100% of my closet I can use and am happy with. My closet is personal to me and makes sense to me so I'm happy with it.

So, here I am in my sanctuary space getting dressed, on a hot summer day drinking iced wild sweet orange tea. I see a new LM video. She's my girl I just discovered. I agree with everything she says. And then she states if you are still putting on your makeup in the bathroom.....savage. I cracked up, spilled my tea, still laughing. A great start to my day before I go to work and deal with the absurdity going on in this country. Thanks for that break LM!

Love this! Specially the rack part, I defo use that and has made a difference in the way I get ready in the morning. I would add a step, that kind of has to do with the candle, but smells are so important. I usually keep like a potpourri or little bag of Rosemary in my closet. There's nothing like the smell of fresh clothes to make the experience more enjoyable. Xx

I have purple slim hangers. I was lucky enough to find enough for my current and new clothes. I'm in the process of decluttering my clothes. Its pretty fun to give clothes away to others. Im hoping to install my vanity set soon.

I love this video and I love these tips! I love #6 the most. I live in a studio apartment and I have 2 dressers that I painted glossy black and put new bling bling handles on them. One has a huge vanity mirror but saldy I'm using it as a t.v. stand now LOL! But I love what you said about have a get ready station.. I have a small desk I made into a vanity where I put my make up on at. I hung some pictures above it and bought some fake flowers with bling on them that were $60 at Joannes! Yes expensive but like you said make it an experience that's what I did! My closet is always getting worked on. Ive recently changed my style and gotten rid of tons of old clothes from my teen years. I'm 22 now so I'm putting an adult woman wardrobe together that fits my current style. I love your videos please keep them coming!

The felt hangers are definitely economical both in sage saving and in that you can buy them in bulk. But they are so flimsy and delicate! I break mine all the time. I would love to have all wood hangers, but that would be expensive. So I’ll put up with the felt ones for now.

I also turn hangers backwards until I use the item after 6 months I get rid of the items that are on the backwards hangers.

I have small place so I put my winter coats and etc in back of my closet and my spring ,summer clothes in the front. boots.booties are put.in a box untill it gets cold.do the same in the winter put away my lighter stuff.thanks for the tip..

A little off topic but I love the jogger suit that u have on! Its looks comfy yet expensive and chic. I'm interested in what shoes you would pair with it and where to buy a jogger suit like yours (semi budget friendly) and any tips u may have when buying/wearing a jogger suit and still looking put together.

Lauren, I love your how to's and I've looked but can't find any that tell how to clean bags, shoes, hats or other accessories without paying big bucks or trusting a stranger to care for much loved items. How about a how to for shoes to help them last longer?

The best thing that I ever did for my closet was to add a valet hook that I think I got from Loews, but you can get them anywhere they sell closet accessories. I can hang several items on it. I mostly use it for the next day's outfit or things I want to consider. FYI-Costco sells the felt hangers in bulk at a very good price, if you have one in your area. I don't know about a candle or sachet in the closet. I wouldn't want all of my clothes picking up the scent. Great tips.

I got rid of all my clothes in the closet.....including the doors .....put up curtain rod with hanging plants ...tiled the floor ..repainted ... Added plants inside with turtle Aquarium ....sound of the waterfall with green lights....not done yet....but will continue to add more creative ideas....any suggestions.....
