I have been trying to figure out a paid scarf pattern from another designer and suspected it was the Moss stitch but not identified as such. Her response to my question didn't solve my confusion. Your video is extremely helpful to me. Always enjoy your videos. Thank you for your detailed explanations. 😺

Any advice on how much of the white or border yarn to buy if making a blanket?
@ashortyb4112 ай бұрын
Do you do the same as other join as you go when you have more than one corner to join too
@momo_bryant17 күн бұрын
I’m absolutely loving the way you’re explaining this, however, do you have one that is a little bit simpler for someone who is a little bit too ambitious?? Because now I really wanna make this, but I know that I will get very frustrated… especially if I try to do it before the yarn that I ordered, that I did NOT need to order, comes in 🙈🙈😬😬

So I'm still working on my c2c moss stitch blanket. Should I do this tutorial's transition row with the extended single crochet? I don't remember that from the other tutorial.
@HookedbyRobin3 ай бұрын
Are you currently making a rectangle? There's less need for the extended sc on that one as it's not such a visibly sharp turn as you need for these smaller squares :)

Suitable for any yarn - use the recommended hook size for your chosen yarn_ but use a hook one to two sizes LARGER for the border. For my squares, I used Woll Bee Batik from Wollbiene in the colourway "Pastel Rainbow" (available to purchase here: amzn.to/3W73HWC ) with a 6mm Hook. For the border, I used Paintbox Chunky in white with a 8mm Hook.😃

Thank you so much I want the colors you used. Great Video

I can tell ill never be able to do this. It's too hard for me to find the correct spaces. Not for other people tho.
@thelibraryismyhappyplace16183 ай бұрын
The beginning is a little tricky because you will be working in such a small area. It will get easier once you've done a few rows. You could try marking the spaces with a stitch marker as you make them in the first few rows. Good luck!

I love this pattern, dear Robin, and I am very keen to learn to do it. But it would really help an old lady of 81, with a poor auditory memory, who calls your "single" crochet a "double" crochet as I use UK terminology, if you could speak somewhat more slowly. Regretfully, I think I will have to give up on this attempt. Such a pity.
