I have always struggled with the moss stitch. It seems easy with the most basic of stitches, but invariably always puckers or pulls or the chain spaces are hard to identify in the first few rows. I appreciate the ‘slowness’ and attention to detail in your tutorial. You have given me renewed hope! I might finally be convinced that moss stitch isn’t the worst stitch in the world! Thank you x

This is gorgeous and so easy. Except I'd start with a 2 loop Magic Ring. Once pulled tight, and remembering that the yarn is already going around the centre twice, just cut off the tail. No weaving in necessary. I'd also finish with an invisible join, but that's just aesthetics.

I love making infinite granny square blankets and this looks great, I'll have to try it, thank you. I personally like to always put an extra slip stitch in the first round to end up in the corner and from then on always turn on the corner, I wonder how the carrying the yarn would work out with that?
@theresespencer282711 ай бұрын
Concerning stitch markers: I work my slip stitch in without removing the marker. It helps me to not lose my place, plus it gives me a little leverage to get into the last stitch. Then I remove the marker after making the stitch.
