This is such a nice size for a shawl with the warmer weather coming and just right for when you want a little something around your neck. Great colours for when you want something more bright and then a more neutral one for the days you want something with softer colours! The tassels add that special finish to them.

I'm loving that bright one for summer in my beach town and the pastel one for winter. We're the same temperature all year and a neck scarf is an everyday necessity. Thank you for another winner.^•,•^ give Layla a kiss for me.

Making another little neck shawl, this time with a finer yarn and a smaller hook (4.5mm). I usually use a chunky yarn double up my strands as I’m uncomfortable using a thin hook. Well, I purchased a set of HiyaHiya hooks and I cannot get over the difference. They glide so smoothly even when using a less than premium yarn. Worthwhile investment!
@OpheliaTalks7 ай бұрын
Sounds great Diane! I hope you enjoy your hooks, they open up a whole world of options! Thank you, Anja x

Anja, I love your shawls. Made the Marianne shawl in different yarn weights and sizes Also the reading shawl. I am relatively new to the craft with no other mentors than the instructors I find on youtube. You are my favorite. Anyway, I was so excited to try this project, but made it slightly smaller. I was so disappointed to find that my sides were uneven! I had 61 rows on the upside and only 42 on the downside. Any idea what I could have done wrong?
@OpheliaTalks3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your lovely comment, did you do one row with the decrease ( where the stitch marker is) and then a row of just dcs ( no decrease)? Anja x

Why do I always want to make everything you demonstrate? I have a knitted scarf/shawlette like this. This version would definitely work up faster than the one I knitted with fingering weight yarn!

I’m sorry @iwonaglowacka7255, I don’t speak every language in the world, but subtitles are available, click the cog in the bottom right of the video, and select your desired language, I hope this helps, Anja x
