Wanted to add the pit in as a different size of yarn. So I made the avocado separately then sewed the pit on. Worked great!

The first one I made was a cutesie green one... then I started getting weird and fancy with the colors. I made one out of all glittery yarn and called him “Glamocado”... my mom saw him and asked... “Those EYES... is this a Methocado??”. HAHAHAHA!!!!! I thought the bigger eyes on him were cute... my mom thought he was on Avophetamine. 😂😂🤣

great job! suggestion - dont cut your yarn off the front peice until you do your edging. This way you dont need to reattach. Super cute though!!

Many thanks for sharing this tutorial, that's so cute! How much yarn do you need for one avocado? Thanks :)
@LMLMCrochet5 жыл бұрын
Aline Ea you’re welcome. I don’t know exactly I’m afraid. But it doesn’t use much yarn. I think about a quarter of a 50gram ball per section of the avocado. Not 100% though.

The smallest in the set... I’d say about 1/2 centimetre. Hope that helps.
