How to Crochet an Ice Cream Cozy

THANK YOU for giving the dimensions!! I’ve looked at several tutorials, but none have given measurements, just stitch counts. I crochet tightly, so need the size to make sure my tension is okay. I want to make one for a gift, but don’t have any ice cream pints on hand to measure against. Thank you again! This is the one I’m going to make. ☺️

My mom just asked me to make something like this for our ninja creami containers! Did you have to adjust the pattern at all to make it fit properly?

Does the type of yarn matter for this project? I have alot of yarn but none oof my pretty yarn is weight 4 and fully cotton. Does the insulation change?

Cotton absorbs the condensation well but I would think cotton blends would work nicely too. Acrylic might not absorb condensation as much but I would think it would still work fine for the cold.

I’m trying to count my stitches..does the very center count as row 1 or is it the first row we put on the center
