For a single crotchet you only do the stitch once. For an increase uou do it twice.

It’s okay I always have this problem until I realized you can go into the settings of the video and adjust the playback speed if the crocheter is working into the yarn to fast for you and you can adjust it back to the normal setting after you have learned your skill so your normal videos will still be normal speed

Idk if you got it yet (or if anyone is checking this comment if anyone explained it) You put the hook under the next stitch (under the V you're seeing (which is two strands overlapping)) then hook and pull the yarn you're working with (the working yarn a.k.a the strand attached to the ball of yarn) through the hole (The "V"). Now you have 2 loops on your hook. Then you hook/loop the working yarn again and pull that loop through the other two loops on the hook. If anyone is struggling or doesn't understand, let me know which part is unclear and I'll try explaining it for you ❤ Edit: Also no idea why anyone is rude to the people that don't quite get it. The first time I started crocheting I also didn't immediately understand how to know what the "next stitch" meant or where exactly I should put my hook. You were a beginner once too, be kind ❤
