In future videos could you add the text to pattern as you go along, so people can learn to read a pattern? Keep up the great work. You visual was great with information you spoke. ❤️

I try to make them in a solid pattern so the pets cannot get their paws or nails tangled in the holes. This will the first solidblanket I’ve made. Please consider making more solid blanket patterns. Thank you Setta.. I'm new to crochet & have recently learned the granny square & granny rectangle & have made several lapghans already....I'm hooked...pun intended haha. Can I practice with a smaller amount of sts....would it eventually grow into a full size? I'm a slow learner & don't want to have to keep ripping back 40 some sts if I find when I get to the other end that I've messed up....again! (I struggled with the gs rectangle) You also have a blessed day
@SettasPlace4 жыл бұрын
Hey Kathy! 💜🧶😁 Awsm to hear you're enjoying crochet! 😃 You can certainly practise with fewer stitches. Your rectangle would have slightly different proportions, but no reason it wouldnt work. 💜🧶💜 Happy stitchin!! 😀

@SettasPlace4 жыл бұрын
Thank you!😁 yes you can use any size yarn but of course you know Bernet blanket yarn makes it a whole lot bigger LOL! 😁 also for bulky yarn you might have to put less stitches in the corners if it bunches up too much.

Hello Ms setta I have been loving making this pattern but I have one concern my corners seem a bit wonky like it seems as though the long sides go in a bit and the corners are a bit exaggerated is this normal I'm about a dozen rows around so not terribly large yet and I know sometimes things straighten out in the end I just wanted to make sure I haven't messed up somewhere or if the kind of curvyness in the beginning is normal I'm using bernat velvet yarn
@SettasPlace2 жыл бұрын
Hey Megan 😁 thank you so much! If you’re a side corners are going in a bit you may be leaving out a stitch. Check out the video timestamp 7:14 where I show where you need to pull back your previous stitch to make sure you get them all. I hope this helps. I’m sure it’s beautiful I love Bernat velvet yarn! 😁

Hello Setta, I have a question for you concerning this rectangle. I hope you don't mind me asking. But why do you start each round with a single crochet instead of a double crochet or two chains?
@SettasPlace4 жыл бұрын
Hey Angela 😁 I start the beginning of each round with a chain one and then put double crochet in the same spot so that there is less of a gap or big hole when it’s time to finish the round and connect it with the slip stitch. I think it looks neater that way.
@inspiration37374 жыл бұрын
@@SettasPlace When I make corners I learned that when I use two chans in makes the transition to the double crochet stitch much easier and it fills in the gaps easier. thanks for answereing me. Keep up the good work.
