Thank you for this awesome and easy stitch pattern and tutorial. Learning how to do a sc2tog at the end of the row to get a straight border was the best icing on the cake ever.
@Hakausu3 ай бұрын
I love this stitch! I keep forgetting how to end the row though, when I leave the project for a while. 5:20 is the part I need to keep referring to. It makes such a neat edge and really is not difficult.

I really like the texture of this stitch. The completed project looks way more complicated. The crocheter can keep it secret.

Thanks for all of the uses of the bud stitch and love the straight border. I’m glad there was an area where you didn’t catch the chain 1 so we can see how it slightly pulls the edge in. Your attention to details like that really make your crochet perfection! Thanks for showing us that as well- a true sign of a great teacher!!🥰

I am going to love this stitch! I know because it’s similar to I think it’s called the suzette stitch and I love that one and the tip for the straight edges is so wonderful of you to share with us. Much love
@Pitoonya10 ай бұрын
I think this is the Suzette stitch too.. only difference w/Suzette is if you start with an even chain, then sc in 2nd ch from hook; ch 1 and turn, sc and dc in 1st stitch, skip next, then sc, dc in next (which with the Suzette you always end the row with a sc, ch1 and turn and each sc, dc are always done in the sc from the row below. So this is like a reverse Suzette stitch bc she is doing the sc & dc into the DC from the row below... Which gives it a different look. Pretty cool.

Really nice, clean looking stitch. Little trick with the double crochet two together at row end works great. I just have to overcome my "phobia" of having to stitch into a turning chain. Seems like even when I make the turning chain loosely and mark it I still have trouble getting back into it with my stitch. But it really does make the edge look a lot neater. Thanks!
