Thanks for sharing. For a beginner like me, seeing all these basic stitches in one single project has been very helpful. Can’t wait to start practicing them all. You are a great teacher! 😊🧶

I love your videos. Concise and easy to understand. On this video could you give the number of stitches left after each row? One time I have 30 on the first row and then it drops to 29. Not sure what I'm doing wrong
@BagsbyBento11 күн бұрын
It’s usually the the single crochets between the waves that get dropped by accident! Stitch count should be the same after every row!

This is such a great tutorial. Very clear instructions, camera angle is perfect, and the stitches are super clear. Subscribed. I am about to try this with Bernat Velvet plus, which may be difficult. Will try this swatch and see how it looks and how easy it is to work with

if you're just looking to make the edge straight, two additional rows of single crochet at the end made it straight enough for me :-)

How long would you make the chain for a blanket?
@misfitgamer8685 ай бұрын
Make multiples of 14 chains until you get your desired blanket width. Then plus 2. It really depends on how long you would like your blanket! And depends on the yarn used.

how many stitches do i need for a afghan?
@loraweems87123 ай бұрын
My suggestion is to make the sample as she does here. After you've done 3 or 4 rows, measure it's length, and use that to determine the number of chains needed. So, if you want a 5 foot wide afghan, you need 62 stitches. 😊

I really really really hope you answer me as fast as you can
@BagsbyBento9 ай бұрын
This stitch can be worked in the round by connecting the stitches ends of the chain at the beginning. Make the chain circle as big as you need! You might look up “wave stitch sweater crochet pattern” for more specifics!

I count 16 stitches in each wave. 2sc 2hd 2dc 3 tr 2dc 2hd 3sc =16 Why is she saying 14 in each wave?
@vivienb.50818 ай бұрын
the repeating pattern is 14 stitches! [3sc, 2hdc, 2dc, 3tr, 2dc, 2hdc] counts as one wave :-)

It's a great stitch for a hat! I’m not sure about the stitch count though. It really depends on the yarn and how tight you crochet! I would crochet a panel and test on your own head or do a gauge swatch to figure it out.
