Such a great pattern. A little tip that I learned: it makes the single crochet decrease a little less obvious if when you go into the second stitch of the decrease, only go through the front Loop. Give it a shot and let me know what you think :-)

Wow lol your hands must be powerfully teeny lol I needed to add extra rows and skip 5 spaces for the thumb but...the adjustments were easy to figure out (even for a newbie like me but...)
