Thank you for talking so favorably about stitch markers. Even though I’ve been crocheting for many years, I still use them religiously. End/beginning stitches are often not clear by the time you work your way back to them. It’s so nice to feel confident stitching into them when marked instead of searching around. I don’t know how you ever came up with this stitch pattern, but it is really lovely. The video sure helps!

I am sure i'll watch this several more times when I try this pattern but I wanted to let you know, i learned more about stitch markers than i have with any other video (that used stitch markers). I started using stitch markers doing amigirumi but recently tried to use in row crochet. That has been helpful in keeping my edges straighter but struggled with using them in rounds. Your explainations with using them with slip, stitches, starting chains, and first and last stitches has blown my mind. I recently started your Alpine beanie and realized I probably need to frog what i've already done ( but I might not be that much of a perfectionist!). It isn't that bad to look wierd unless you look close and it's just for me so i'll just finish it! But this video explaining the use of stitch markers will (most likely) change my understanding and use of stitch markers and for that, Thank You! ❤😊

Thank you so much! I am such a big believer in them and I'm so glad this has helped you! Before I started using them I STRUGGLED!

Hi Tamara! I automatically thought of Tanis Galick’s work when I saw your scarf. If memory serves, it’s called interlocking crochet. There are SO MANY ways you can create something out of it. I’ve made several blankets out of it, but never your pattern. You very well may have made a new interlocking pattern! Beautiful work!

I have the interlocking crochet book and it's definitely the closest thing to what I'm doing, but there are a few differences!
