I care less about the build changes than the villager conversion change. I get that free was a bit strong, but +15 food *and* +5 gold seems like too big a change for what I felt was a pretty solid unique Loki trait. At least lose the gold cost to leave mass conversion an option if you've run out/been cut off from gold.

The gold isn't necessary, though, and changed the opening and the ability to mass convert later when things get hairy which is kinda the main point of the unique trait. People are worried about it being used offensively when this actually hurts the ability to use it defensively more.

Why no katapeltes made by Victor against the raiding cav?

The problem with building Katapeltes into norse is that they're only good against the raiding cav, which can just choose to not fight Katapeltes by running away. Murmillo can beat the raiding cav while also being able to fight berserker and hersirs. The only real answer Norse have to murmillo (besides a bigger army) is throwing axmen or a good flaming weapons

Tell me I am crazy, but I really get mad at pro players game which they just DON'T TRAIN THE CORRECT ARMY THEY SHOULD. Gaia had like mass murmilo army and Loki trained just a few Throwing Axeman... I am not a pro, but When I play ranked games, enemies always make the army triangle dance near perfectly. And pro players just sometimes don't give a shit. I have seen pro player games which they only make mass cav armies and never a counter unit to kill those cavs. What the heck?! Loki's army was kinda about 40% hersir, 40% Beserk and 20% Throwing Axeman He was against a Age 2 Gaia with no Cav army I really think Loki should go like 50% Hersir and 50% Throwing Axeman

problem is if you overmake throwing axeman even a small mass of turma absolutely delete them. Hersir also lose hard to bite of the shark murmillo hence why u go heavy on berserker with some throwing axe to back them up. some hersir is always good as loki too

Army of Loki hersir and bragi berserks will do that! The Atlantean player stayed classical too long by making so many murmillo . Better imo to go heroic and go arcus/destroyer to force Loki into units they have no bonuses for
