I hate cut my hair with a razor, I did it once and was a catastrophe. I have to wait at least 3 years to recover my hair. I only let them cut my hair with scissors. But this guy works so well...

Could you do a video sometime that runs through body positions, finger angles, stance, etc when doing a haircut? I feel like I move around too much during my cuts, which I know creates in consistencies, but I'm never sure where I should really be. Thanks!

I love this haircut because I have pretty thick hair and it really keeps things light and with movement. Its hard to find a stylist that knows how to do this cut though.

Thanks for sharing your technique, I work on the salon and I don't know how to cut the hair, because in the academy they don't teach you, I graduate 10 months ago And I really need this type of easy haircut and also If you can do the fade classic haircut for men and splaying what number you are using in every step. It's true that not all Beauty Schools are equal. I took some hands-on pro classes with Sassoon and at then the International Hair shows, each year. I also assisted ina salon for an entire YEAR, in exchange for more education. Learning the BASIC architecture of hair design REALLY helps you understand not only HOW to do this, but WHY. It's tough to have the $$ to invest in yourself but education and great tools are essential, and THIS guy knows how to teach cuts that translate to the salon world. KZbin is great for that. Getting a few heads out and practicing until you got it, helps, but listen to him. Honestly, this technique is really fast, and beautiful and will be about 90% of what women with long layered hair want. The key, here, is body position, the amount of elevation and over-direction. It could go wrong if you don't pay close attention to that. No lie.
