I want to say thank you *so much* for making this video because i've never actually found any videos of people cutting this hairstyle from "normal hair", they were usually just trimming it up, and I'd really like this hairstyle myself. Last time i went to get it professionally cut, I ended up with a bob and terrible bangs and layers. So, again, thank you! ^.^

disclaimer: if you decide to grow out your hair its going to look uneven for awhile because the fanned out bit, but dont worry it will grow back just a little longer

Can't wait to try this. I've had scene hair before, but last time I got it professionally done he razored the V shape into the back of my hair... taking most of my length with it! :( And the one friend that can actually do it is usually booked solid. So I guess it's time to put my razoring skills to the test... I really miss my scene look.

I love your hair color!!! If you don't mind me asking, what brand was it and how light was your hair before?

Thank you! xx The brand is called Schwarzkopf and the colour is ultra violet. I had brown hair (dyed) but it doesn't really matter as this hair dye bleaches your hair first. It's both in one. At the beginning it used to be quite dark but after dying my complete hair around 4 times (instead of just the roots) it became brighter and brighter. From then on I just dyed my roots as it damages the hair too much after a while, obiously :-) If you haven't dyed your hair yet and want use this hair dye it will look more purplish and brighter though. (Prettier in my opinion) Hope you get what I mean. I'm pretty tired and can't really concentrate right now haha If you want me to I can send you pictures of the package and my hair before and after dying. If your hair is naturally stick straight can the straightening part be skipped?

I'm sure you can! I've had some friends with straight hair that straightened their hair to style it and some of them didn't. Maybe try both ways and see what works the best for you :-)
