I’ve always wondered how to do this move. I’m more of a dance fan than an actual ballroom dancer but this move has baffled me for years when I’ve tried to do it myself. Thanks for the tutorial!

Hey Alexey, great turorial! I've seen the Batucadas with much smaller steps, so that the knees slightly touch. Has that changed over the last years?
@ballroomwithalexey39516 жыл бұрын
Hi Malte! There are so many ways of doing this step, here I’m giving just one of them. It’s the beauty of dancing you can do it in so many different styles.

Thanks , Alexey !!! It seems too difficult for me. I 'm still training the basic step in cha cha using your advices . Do you think, it is important to work on the basic movement till perfection, and then switch to other steps ?
@ballroomwithalexey39516 жыл бұрын
Saida this is a great question, I might even do a full video on this topic, but if to be short here, you have to work on your basics all the time, without any questions. And of course you should try to make it as great, as you can, but dancing is a lot more than just basic techniques. That’s why you should always challenge yourself by learning something new and don’t wait till you will make one step perfect. In general we learn to dance by dancing so we we better dance more and remember to enjoy. Hope it makes sense. Thank you for your great question one more time😊✌🏻
