I have the same question. I don't know if 3m double-sided tape or glue will stick to the vinyl, or if the vinyl will not "pull away" from the car because of the weight of the emblems. Same question regarding the make badges on the hood and trunk.

No, the "C" in GT C doesn't stand for convertible. It's the motor lineup which is GT, GT C, GT R post facelift.

I use a heat gun to loosen the glue before I use fishing line👍

Best thing I've ever used to remove the black glue from under the badge is the 3M Strip wheel. It's amazing. Also thanks for sharing your tricks very helpful.

I thought you would put a marker on the masking paper to show exactly where the letters go, so you get the spacing right when putting them back on.

In 1990 we had an exclusive adhesive made for GM only called Delco Moraine. It contained benzine, a well known carcinogen that had a smell that stunk and made you sicker than hell. The EPA told us to either build a solvent recovery product ( 1.6 million $ ) or, find somewhere else to run it. Someone said, " Let's send it to our Canadian plant. " Two tanker trucks headed to Canada full of this slop. Both drivers were stopped, and told to turn that sh*t around and take it back to where it came from. " I had known that Canada's emission standards are strict, very strict. But, I wasn't saying a word. I knew what was going to happen. I knew one of the drivers a little. I asked him, " what happened at the border ? " He said, " when they were done with us, our knees were knocking so badly, we had a hard time shifting. " Moral: If you think the EPA is strict here.....don't even think about doing it in Canada. They love their clean air up there. Who can blame them lol.

I really appreciate the video showing the removal, and like others, I would really love to hear how you put it back together. When you remove the adhesive from the back of the individual letters, doesn't that peel them off the masking tape? Like others have said, I'm assuming you've got some advice that could really help. Hey man. Bought aftermarket raw bumber for my car. Obviously polyurethane has low surface energy for wrap. Have a friend in autobody who will prime and paint.. well I'll be doing sanding. I can't find a lot info online on how long to wait to wrap after being painted. You have general idea? Thx brother. Awesome vids as always!

So , you remove the badges, you apply your wrap . Duuh 😂 . Then you apply the badges on top of the vinyl . What is a customer down the line , let’s just say 1 year he had enhancing of this colour , decide to remove his vinyl on its own or whatever. The f is happening there , he will not be able to put them back as professional as u do it . Please help with this question is bothering me for a while . Or is there a way wrapping around the emblem? Im confused 😐

GIO TV most cars have bolts and clips, pretty easy and straight forward. If you’re not confident in removing them yourself, do some research on the car and it’ll show you exactly how to remove the bumper and headlights
