Here are two common ways to remove wax from your surfboard. In both cases you'll first need to scrape up the wax with some kind of scraper (waxcomb, razor, putty knife, etc...). With the Fireball you'll rub across the board to pick up and remaining wax residue. This is a dry process but will leave "dusty" wax balls to sweep up. With the liquid wax remover you'll just spray and wipe up. This will leave a residue from the wax remover that you'll need to make sure is completely gone before you re-apply any wax.
