Dealing with angry people is an art. And this is what the Bible says about how to handle angry people or deal with people when they are mad at you. This biblical wisdom will give you the tools to respond positively in the face of someone else's anger or wrath.

My natural response when someone is angry at me is to cry. Years of conditioning created that response! I am unlearning it, but it is slow going.

I was one angry lady before becoming a Christian, even for no reason! When I became a Christian, the anger seemed to have dissipated. I still get mad but I am more in control :) Thanks be to God and Jesus our Savior! Thank for the video!

Thank you for this short lesson on how to deal with an angry person. I've been having to deal with an angry family member for quite a long time now... my father. He is a very hostile man. His anger is out of control. Many times when I'm at his auto shop, he gets so mad at stuff going wrong that he explodes with violent temper outbursts, cussing, swearing and throwing things (and in the past, he has struck me). To be honest, I'm quite afraid of the man. I can only hope that by abiding by the principles you've outlined here, that I can finally defuse those situations. But I feel (I fear) that I may end up having to call 911 someday. In the meantime, I shall pray. I ask that you would pray for me, too. Thank you, and God bless you.

I find this so hard a lot of times. But thank you for the reminder that the kind and calm answer is often the best way. Anyone have advice on how to change so this comes more naturally, not forced?

That is really out of context. As the Israelites were escaping Egypt, they worried that the Pharaoh would chase them down and kill them. They wanted to know what they should do. Moses told them in 14:14 "the Lord will fight for you; you need only be still". God then tells Moses to lead them through the red sea so that the Egyptians would follow and they would be destroyed. God would later on many occasions tell His people to fight and that He would aid them.

Again specific context is needed. Paul in the previous verses tells the church leaders to welcome all of their brothers and sisters into Christ. 16:17 "I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them." This is a warning to the church leaders about falling prey to those who would preach exclusivity. And 16:18 "For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people". These are those who would teach contrary to the what Paul has said previously, that the gift of life is for all who would accept Christ and receive it.

I find this so hard, but working on it. I generally just don't respond because I know I can't control myself.

I specifically looked this up to see if you had something on this because today I needed this. I encountered someone who was very angry (a church member) and I didn't know how to respond. And this has happened before as well, and I know not to respond in anger but I generally just resort to not responding at all, I don't know if that's good or not.

How do you know when to do what you suggested in the video versus being assertive? I am sure you will agree that sometimes we have to be assertive.

Hey Mike! Love your videos. I was wondering if you could make a video about the Book of Enoch. There is a lot of debate that carries a lot of theological weight in scripture. I have been struggling whether to believe it, or how much to believe seeing that it seemed to inspire the New Testament at times! Thank you!

Thank you for that study! The only thing is is that I never thought Enoch wrote a book himself. But it instead looks as if someone penned it in around 300-150 b.c? There are almost exact quotes from the New Testament in there, and figures of speech. My main question is, did the disciples and apostles and Jesus use Enoch before, or did people simply use the words of the disciples, apostles, and Jesus and call them the Book of Enoch? It is very confusing in its chronological order, and plus the church fathers were seen quoting from Enoch, were they quoting a book? Or what were they quoting from? Confusing.

First, I laugh, if they continue, I just emasculate them with my superior mental processes. My first car was a 67 mustang. I loved that car. Great video. I aspire to be that way no matter what. It's a work in progress for me.

Hi, I think when it comes to dealing with false prophets and people who are deceiving the early baby believers. Jesus always showed righteous anger towards the Pharisees and Sadducees, because they were hypocrites.

This is not true at all. I was being soft towards my angry manager and he just kept getting angry and flipped the paper violently from me when he was writing up me and my coworker who were fighting and I was just checking what the paper was and he did that, AFTER he scolded and berated me btw.
